// Perfect Boots//

giabardot:

So we have covered high heels and casual shoes but what about BOOTS!? Good Lord do I love boots…. Currently residing on a tropical Island, I rarely get to wear my beloved boots. So this blog brings me as much pain as it does joy. Here are some of my favourite essentials kicking off with thigh highs:

PRETTY PERFECT: Perfect for a Princess

giabardot:

Lets talk about diamonds, our best friends. We all want them (need them) and if we are lucky enough our men like to give them to us. Unfortunately they don’t always make the right choice. This is where www.princessdiamonds.co.za comes in. They make sure what you get is nothing less than…

PRETTY PERFECT: Pretty Perfect Casual Shoes

giabardot:

Some times it’s time to give the heels a miss and opt for ‘sensible shoes’ (a phrase that used to make my bones shudder but now that I am a Mommy seem to have adopted whole heartedly)… The good news is there are so many awesome options out there and for those of us who are vertically challenged…

Perfect Lounge Wear

I know, probably more than most, that the best ‘at home’ clothes are always the old, oversized, mismatched tat that you just never seem to be able to throw out. But sometimes, every so often, there comes a time when I strive for perfection. I bite the bullet, chuck out my…

Lately my 90’s obsession has moved on from 90’s grunge to 90’s preppy/tailored. Absolutely loving Versaces Supermodel campaigns from back in the day. Totally influencing Gia Bardots F/W 2013 collection! Watch this space;)

After seeing my sister in laws skin looking absolutely amazing I asked her what the hell she had been doing differently in the last couple of months. She simply told me it was down to Rosehip oil… I was a bit skeptical that it would work magic on my lackluster skin and even worried that the oil would be, well too oily causing other problems! How wrong was I! Mirander Kerr, a Rosehip oil fan, knows what shi is talking about. My skin has transformed from looking dull, dry and patchy to radiant, glowing and smooth. Within days of using the oil my skin looked and felt amazing. And at only GBP15 it is more than worth investing in a bottle or two!

90’s Grunge Revival

I am beyond excited about this particular trend. I have never truly grown out of 90’s Grunge (including the epic music), so this for me is simply awesome. I remember at age 10 watching ‘Four Non Blondes’ on MTV (when it was still all about music), insisting on wearing my brothers boxer shorts, black Dr Martins, a plaid Shirt and a top hat. I even sported a horrific undercut that my very understanding parents turned a blind eye to. Although this time around I will not be going quite as radical and um, grungy, I am as keen as ever to bring back the 90’s in my wardrobe. Did I mention floral dresses, Crop tops, knee high socks, peace sign pendants? Bring it on!
